This research is motivated by the role of teachers in instilling character education through Pancasila education in the fourth grade at SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang. During the learning process, teachers should fulfill their important roles as role models, guides, facilitators, evaluators, and dynamizers. The objectives of this study are to determine: the implementation of Pancasila character education; the challenges faced by teachers in applying character education; and the efforts made by teachers to incorporate character values into Pancasila education. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with the subjects being fourth-grade teachers and several students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, using triangulation to verify the validity of the data.The findings of this study indicate that teachers play a crucial role in integrating character values, such as discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect, into the learning process. Teachers have fulfilled their roles as role models, guides, facilitators, evaluators, and dynamizers by employing various methods in learning activities. However, there are still challenges such as a lack of student engagement, low self-awareness of students regarding their behavior, limited learning media, and insufficient support from home environments. Therefore, teachers need to continually emphasize the importance of good character to students, and both the school and parents should also support students in developing good character to enhance the effectiveness of character education instillation in schools.
