PENERAPAN MODEL COOPERATIF LEARNING TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) BERBANTU MEDIA QUESTION BOX DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPAS KELAS VI
Abstract
This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of science and natural sciences in grade VI of SD Negeri 006/II Tanjung Agung. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the process and learning outcomes of science and natural sciences using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Cooperative Learning Model Assisted by Question Box Media.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 14 sixth-grade students, consisting of 6 boys and 8 girls. The object of this study was the application of the STAD learning model to improve learning processes and outcomes. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study used observation and learning outcome tests.The results obtained from this study indicate that the application of the STAD learning model is able to improve the learning process and outcomes of students. In cycle I, the average result of observation of the learning process by educators was 81,8%, increasing to 100% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the average student activity increased from 57,14% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II. The learning outcomes increased from 71.43% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the STAD learning model is effective in improving the learning process and outcomes of grade VI students of SD Negeri 006/II Tanjun Agung.
